Diego Bohorquez

I am a Research Economist at the Bank of Italy, working in the Financial Stability Directorate.

I received my PhD in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University and the Barcelona School of Economics, under the supervision of Luca Fornaro and Alberto Martin.

My research studies the role of global banks in international macroeconomics, with a focus on the dollar, exchange rates, and policy interventions with global implications.
